And to add insult to injury, I actually even responded to the survey they sent me and explained my disappointment and they never even bothered to respond to me. We were planning on staying for a good part of the day, but it was so crowded and dirty in the two casinos that were open and with no place to shop, we left. Well, my friend and I left at about 2:30 and they STILL had not opened the casinos they had closed the night before nor were the majority of the stores open either in the main property or the outlets. Now this was NOT a blizzard nor was one forecasted! We woke up on Monday morning and although it was snowing, it was light fluffy snow that was completely melted and the roads were actually dry by noon the following day. We were in the Festival Slots casino around 11:45p and were told that the casino was closing in order to let employees get home safely. I love the casinos, the shopping, the restaurants, and the shows! But I was there in March on a Sunday night and they closed all but two casinos due to snow - only the Grand Pequot and the Fox Tower casinos remained open.
I love Foxwoods, I truly do, and go once a quarter or so when I can escape for a ladies' night with one of my friends. Let me preface this by saying that I never would've expected to write a negative review of Foxwoods.
